Break ups are painful, but you can take comfort in the thought that as of right now thousands of people are breaking up. You are not alone. Almost everyone who managed to learn how to love will some point in their lives experience the pain of separation.

First, accept that it is painful. There's no other way around it but to experience the pain. Be strong. Use that pain to make yourself stronger.

Try to focus yourself on things that would make you happy. Focus on your hobby, your friends, your family. People around you are your support group. They can't take away the pain but they can help you get your mind off things.
Try to regain your confidence. Your happiness is not dependent on anyone else but yourself.
