I used to be able to eat a huge lunch and not have to worry about it. A Big Mac with fries had absolutely no effect on my weight. What happened? Now if I eat a hamburger I might as well have eaten a nine course dinner. Sometimes I look at food and think I might just as well apply it to my hips. It happened so slowly, I didn't notice it. But when I was shopping for a dress for my son's wedding I noticed that my normal size just didn't fit anymore. I was appalled and depressed.

Now what do I do? "Why should I start dieting?" was a foreign question to me just a few years ago and now it's all I think about. Have you had a similar story? If this has happened to you do don't panic. Our metabolism slow down the older we get. That doesn't mean you can't lose weight. It just means you have to change some things. Some people can make radical changes, I've gotten used to the way I live. And I like what I like.

The saying "you can't teach old dogs new tricks" really applies to me. I have habits that are very hard for me to change. If you're like me, you're going to really like the diet that I'm on. It works with your lifestyle. It doesn't make you change everything about you. You can preserve your current identity and it's completely fine.

With most diets, you have to eat less and feel completely deprived With this diet, you eat more and feel satisfied. I know, you're thinking that it's not possible. But it is and really it's not dieting, per se. You'll see when you try it. And you get to snack. That's right! Who doesn't like a great snack! And now, you learn healthy habits that you can use for the rest of your life. And the really great part is you can lose up to 10 lbs in 14 days. I lost 8 but I'm older and my metabolism isn't what it used to be.

It's not going to be hard to do. Now you can eat more, snack in a healthy manner and lose those extra pounds you've unconciously acquired.
