I wanted to talk to you about the things a simple high chair could teach your children
. As a parent youre responsible for teaching your children the fundamentals of entering the world and being competent adults. It may seem a little early to talk about this sort of thing when we are discussing high chairs, but much of what your child learns today will be the things that are engrained into the childs mind for the rest of their life. And this is a good thing. You want good habits and behaviors to be stuck in your childs mind. Im going to show you why a high chair can be good.
What is a very important thing a child needs to learn when it comes to eating? Manners and it is one of the hardest things for them to learn. They want to play with their food and get their hands right into it. Sure a lot of this behavior will disappear as they get older, but old bad habits die hard. The child should be in a high chair, so they can see exactly what is happening at the table. They should be able to see you at all times as you eat, so they know exactly what is proper.
When I child can see you eating your food, theyll eventually mimic the behavior and do it too. So if youre eating like a slob than your child will grow up to eat like a slob. If you eat properly in front of them while theyre sitting in a high chair than theyll learn the good behavior they should be following.
