Wedding Ceremony Planning: Wedding Dates You Should Avoid .
There are many dates that you should avoid when setting a date so that anyone who
is planning a wedding will find this useful! and I will not only tell you what dates to avoid but the reasoning behind it is included!
Forget about Mother's Day
Forget about Prom Season
Forget about Christmas
Forget about Valentines day
Forget about Easter....
I am sorry to put it like this but those dates you should avoid! These are the reasons why...
Mother's day- your flowers will not be fresh, think of all of the back stocked flowers they have anticipating on the rush to get mom some flowers.
Prom Season- not only will your flowers not be as fresh as they should be for a day that is held this high on the importance list, but think about it... If you will need transportation you need to book WAY in Advance! Most prom-goers have already booked limos, ordered flowers, they are more than likely going to a place that probably could have been your reception site or ceremony site (I know my friends and I always like to go to the beach afterward). Traffic will be horrible for everyone trying to get to their destination. Hair dressers have been doing updo's all day long, and nail tech's have been doing french manicures and pedicures ALL DAY... You would want someone who will care how you look on your big day, not someone who is tired and wants to go home or just wants the day to be over with.
Christmas, this is out for the same reason that Mother's day is not an ideal date.
(Valentines day and easter is the same reason, the flowers will be stocked up for at least a week before the actual date and you need fresh flowers.)
Also on a Valentines day wedding you could probably run into the transportation problem again, you know people taking their significant other out on a date so they want to do something special and rent a limo.
