Three Turnoffs That Make Men Withdraw
There are three things that women do that serve as automatic turnoffs and make a man turn and run the other directionfast.
First is the woman who is needy and desperate. Every relationship is expected to be THE relationship. The man feels overwhelmed from the outset. She may expect him to stay in constant contact, or spend every waking moment outside of work with her. She may giveor even initiatesex too quickly in the relationship, hoping it will help cement the relationship. Instead, the man disappears. Changes his phone number, deletes her emails, and walks the other way if he sees her approaching. And the sad thing is, she'll keep repeating the pattern and wondering why she can't find a nice guy. She finds plenty of nice guysshe's just scaring them away.
Another type of woman who drives men away is the whining, emotional type. Nobody wants to hear whining, and men are extremely comfortable with emotion. Because no matter how insensitive a man may appear to be, he really does care and doesn't want to hurt you.
If you are having a disagreement, a man is conditioned to present a logical argument. Too many times, a discussion between man and woman turns into a disaster when she senses she is losing and responds emotionally. This causes confusion; men rarely know how to respond effectively to emotions. Instead, they often become angry because she has changed the rules.
The final type of turnoff occurs when the relationship has progressed to the point where both parties are feeling comfortable together. The woman suddenly becomes demanding or controlling. Once the man recognizes controlling behavior, he may remember early signs. He then begins to see everything as an attempt to control him, and he responds by doing the opposite, or doing nothing at all. If she reminds him of some undone task, she is "nagging". She complains that he is ignoring her.
These three common scenarios can doom a relationship. You might not even realize that you're doing them. It's important to look at the patterns in your past relationships and honestly evaluate whether or not you're committing these relationship killers.
