The Very Moment, I am Offered the Tiffany
My mind has been blank since the man in front of me knelt down on one knee
. There in his hand, a Tiffany ring, carefully placed in a light blue box, is shining like a star. For a moment, I can hear nothing, only seeing the mans anxious eyes and the glaring ring.This I haven't imagined, for only a moment ago, we were still having dinner together as usual, making it a night without any difference. But suddenly, he just said that he would like to hear some light music and went to order some special service. However, after coming back, he suddenly proposed to me, which was no doubt a total surprise.
In front of me, he is still kneeling, holding the Tiffany ring high to the place where it's easy for me to get. It is so humbled a position that he is in now, which reminds me of his patience and forgiveness to me. My friends often say that I am a stubborn woman, who would never change her mind. And sometimes, I'm also ashamed of my being so stubborn and not willing to take others' advice.

It has been more than once that we quarrel for some little things, yet, I was never the first person to apologize, even though I was the person to blame. Instead of starting a cold war, he was always the first to calm down. Then after a day or two when I was also calm down, he might ask me to dinner or to see a movie. It really works, for during the days when I was alone, I might also come to realize my own faults.
Thinking of the things he has done for me without hesitation and the time when I spent with him, which were full of laughter and tears, I suddenly realize that this man has already been a part of my life. Tears run down my cheeks as I reach out for that Tiffany ring. Sensing my action, he raises his head and stands up. There hand in hand, he helps me wear that shining Tiffany ring carefully and gently.
The moment he put that ring on my finger, I feel that I am the happiest woman ever in this world. And I know I have already found the best place in the world, which is by his side.
