Everybody wants to know the "big secret" to losing weight quickly

, but to be honest, there is no individual big secret as such, but a secret specific to every person, as everybody loses weight differently.

The most obvious and biggest change in your life is your diet. Now when I talk about diets I don't mean starving yourself! I mean changing your eating habits to both suit your lifestyle, and to suit your tastes. If you starve yourself your metabolism will not burn as fast as you need it to and you will not lose any weight. Ideally you should aim to be eaiting 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals. The conventional 3 meals per day only clogs your stomach and slows your metabolism while your body tries to digest large ammounts of food.

Next up exercise! (uh oh!). Exercise doesn't have to be the painful experience that people make it out to be. The key here is finding a routine that works, and keeps you entertained. Most people find going to the gym and running miles and miles on the treadmill boring if you're in this group then DON'T do it! Do something that is fun eg: attend a yoga class, join a sports group etc just try something new that will spark enthusiasm in your exercise routine.

A big part of losing weight quickly comes from within YOU! Adopt a positive mental attitude and you will find yourself more committed to your weight loss. This is true in all aspects of life but especially so in losing weight. Because a happy, confident, dedicated mind makes a BIG difference!
