HOW WELL DOES IT WORK?

Because of this, being consistent is crucial.
Picking up a language is much like learning to ride a bike. For the first little while you might feel that you are not getting anywhere. You will see that you are suddenly able to pick up most of the words in the audio recordings and can create basic sentences easily.
Then you can move on to learning more advanced grammer and vocabulary.

Some students find it hard to focus unless there is some outside pressure like an upcoming "exam" or a teacher checking their "homework".
Rocket German is a do it yourself program. It is powerful but you have to provide the consistency yourself.
If you feel you might need the pressure of a classroom setting in order to take action, consider a class at a local college. Keep in mind that classroom instruction will cost more and will take longer.
