. I have had bacterial vaginosis infections on and off CONSTANTLY it seems, for like 5 years. I go to the doctor and take the prescribed antibiotics (pills, gels, whatever) and being an Antibiotic, those kill bacterial indiscriminately, so the good and necessary bacterial are killed alongside with the bad.

Sure, the prescriptions treat it and it goes away. But then after doing anything sexual, I would have another infection all over again, sometimes even after just having sex once! So needless to say, I am a chronic sufferer of BV.
