Plus, weight resistance increases your bone density, gives you great shape, and slows down the aging process.
You will want to do whole body workouts based around basic and compound movements, which are movements that work several muscle groups at one time, such as the squats, leg presses, barbell rows, bench presses, and shoulder presses. You will burn more fat for a much longer period of time if you do whole body workouts as opposed to one or two muscle groups per workout. As soon as my Placentia Personal Training clients started doing whole body workouts, they began to see their body fat drop much faster.
Now, here is the most critical component to you dropping tons of fat in record time. Your diet. Diet is for most people 80% of the weight loss battle. The first thing you need to do is cut out all processed foods and start eating raw and natural foods. You will want to eat about 1 to 1.5 grams of protein for each pound you weigh from quality protein sources, such as lean red meat, chicken breasts, fish, egg whites, whey protein, and turkey. If you really want to shed mounds of fat fast, you will need to reduce your carbohydrate intake to about 40 to 50 grams, consisting mostly of fibrous vegetables.
