Michael Buble Tickets - Fans Get More 'love' From Michael Buble
Canadian crooner Michal Buble is readying the reissue of his album Crazy Love
. Billboard online reports that Buble plans on releasing an expanded version of the album, which enjoyed two weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release (it's currently sitting pretty at No. 7), in 2010. The reissue of Crazy Love will feature additional songs recorded by Buble during the same studio sessions for the original album, such as "Hollywood Dead."
Following "Have I Met You" and "Hold On," "Hollywood Dead" is slated to be the third single off the album, and Buble confided to Billboard online, "That's probably the best pop song I've ever been part of." Buble co-wrote the song with Toronto songwriter Robert Scott and described the single, saying, "It's kind of like our take on the culture of celebrity and how f***ed up it is and how people lose their way in the hunt for fame...Remember where you came from...You need to remember what you asked for when you get it." Wise words, Michael!
"The End of May," a song by the Actual Tigers, may also make an appearance on the track listing for the reissue of Crazy Love. Buble revealed to Billboard that he would have swapped out another track for "The End of May" on the original album if he could go back in time, calling the song "so beautiful" and claiming, "I think it might be one of the best vocal performances I've ever given." Fans will have to wait until the arrival of the album to find out for themselves, although a release date has not yet been set.
While the release date for the expanded version of Crazy Love remains up in the air, Buble has finalized plans to tour in support of the effort. Buble is working with production designers from the late pop icon Michael Jackson's scheduled This Is It concerts in London for his upcoming trek, which is set to kick off in North American in March 2010 and last until 2011! Crazy Love is Michael Buble's first album of new material since 2007's Call Me Irresponsible. The Canadian singer split recording time for the album, named after a 1970 Van Morrison song of the same name, between New York and Vancouver. In addition to two original songs-"Hold On" and "Haven't Met You Yet"-co-written by Buble, the album features covers of "Georgia On My Mind," "Cry Me A River" and "Baby (You've Got What It Takes)" featuring Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.
Buble previously told Billboard that the recording process for Crazy Love, produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica, was more organic than his past studio experiences. Recalled Buble, "The musicians and I all sat in the room, recorded it right from the floor and we let the sounds all come together and bleed into one another. It's not contrived. Not too perfect. It just feels really good." What also likely felt good was beating KISS on the Billboard 200 chart, as Crazy Love knocked the rock legend's album Sonic Boom off the chart upon its release!
