Drink water! Remind yourself of the calories that come with the cola your about to drink.
Avoid simple carbohydrates! Simple carbs raises your blood sugar and leads to weight gain.
Burn more calories! As long as you burn what you eat, you will maintain your weight; and as long as you burn more than you eat, you'll lose weight-- a calorie is a calorie. A protein calorie is no different from a fat calorie -- they are simply units of energy.
Exercise! Walking is a good start. Exercise is the best way to lose weight and walking is the easiest exercise to do. Walk 30 minutes a day and you will burn your daily intake of calories. Walk 45 minutes or longer and you will begin burning excess calories and that means losing weight.
Plus you get some sun while you're walking! Did you know that we get vitamin D from the sun? It's a very important fat burning vitamin but many people are vitamin D deficient. I have a great tip on a pretty tasty way to get all the vitamin D you need but it will only help you lose from 5 to 18 pounds.
What you really need is a program that will get you over the 5 lb. barrier. I have found one that not only does just that, but helps you obtain last minute weight loss, with fat cutting results and is guaranteed!
At this point I would like to give you a little food for thought. Wouldn't it be better to start a weight loss program now so that you will be on track to lose that unwanted weight and not have to rush around looking for some last minute weight loss solutions? Think about that!
