Families will love the safe sandy beaches and calm shallow waters just along the coast at Plati Yialos. Snorkelling is a favourite pastime or if you're feeling slightly more energetic try windsurfing or water skiing. Water taxis will take you along to a neighbouring cove or beach, or take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful cliff top paths and enjoy the amazing views.

Nightlife is much more laid back here than in Mykonos Town with restaurants and tavernas lining the waterfront creating a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Scuba diving in this part of the world is fantastic with mysterious wrecks, colourful fish and vibrant corals.
