Not all parenting information can be processed instantly by our brains in a day. Parenting will require a lifetime of endless learning, rejoicing and even suffering before you are successful. What's important to keep in mind is that you should never give up on parenting. As long as you are open minded when it comes to parenting, you have guaranteed that you have won the parenting race already. The pay-off is well worth it, when you see a well adjusted, smart, and successful adult, that was once your baby. PARENTING IS A NEVER-ENDING JOB.
By the time your child steps out into the world at age 18, they are considered as an adult (well, in some cases this may not be applicable). Being a parent is nothing but a priceless job. Even after all of your children have grown up, they will still come to you for advice. Just because now that your child is taller than you doesn't mean that they are more matured and ready for anything that this world can offer them. People, who would actually say that parenting is a easy job, are the ones who most likely are childless. TEACH YOUR KIDS SELF-RELIANCE Avoiding conflicts out of fear, thinking that your child will not love you back because you do not give in to his/her wants, is ridiculous. As young as two years old, a child can start learning to do easy chores. If you notice that you constantly give in to your child's whims, take a pause, and ask yourself what made you do such a thing. Upon learning to take on more responsibilities, your child can become self-sufficient. GET MORE COMPLIANCE FROM YOUR CHILD.
Start to establish house rules - For instance, if your house rule is that bedtime should be at 8 pm, simply state the rule. I really love it every time I hear other kids say, "YES YES", then you can tickle your child or even use humor just to see if you actually can get your child to say "YES", and by doing so you will gain more cooperation from your child. To solve your child's defiant behavior, you should not take the bait in a power struggle with your oppositional child. COMMON CHILD AND PARENT PROBLEMS.
We never wanted to stand out like a dweeb or a sore loser to be laughed at. Plus, by being a active parent in your child's school system, you will learn about their behavior while at school. All of us went through that stage where we all wanted to be just like all the other kids. Your child will begin to revolt about attending school in ordinary school shoes, they might be asking for designer gear like those "other kids" and parents tell their kids not to feel jealous or even inferior. MAKE MEMORIES WITH QUALITY FAMILY TIME.
You do not need to perform a major makeover in starting to increase your quality time that you and your family spend together. Any time spent that builds the bonds between you and your child, will prove to be a great choice. It doesn't have to be expensive. Laying on the grass in your backyard watching cloads; reading a story before bed; taking the family pet for a walk; or just sitting on the couch, watching a favorite TV show, will provide bonds that will be hard to break. THE FOLLOWING TIPS ENSURE THAT YOUR FAMILY TIME WILL HAVE LESS STRESS AND WILL ENSURE THAT YOU WILL MAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMORIES LAST A LIFETIME: -Plan a simple dinner that is delicious and nutritious, but doesn't require stress while preparing it.
