Golf Trolleys - Take The Weight Off Your Shoulder: News
Not much time has passed when some golfers used to hire a caddy in order to carry their clubs and bags while others used to cart the gear on their own
. Now players of all ages are using golf trolleys to save the precious energy for their game and not waste it hauling the golf paraphernalia around the course. Generically there are two types of trolleys: manually pulled trolleys and electric powered trolleys.
Manual or Pull trolleys
Manual trolleys are a great option if you are looking for a reasonably priced trolley. They are light weight and more affordable than an electric powered trolley. A normal size golf bag could be easily accommodated on the front of the trolley. A two wheel trolley is designed to be towed behind you while a three wheel trolley, which is more stable could be used either as a push or pull trolley.
While out for buying a manual golf trolley look for one which is light weight as well as strongly put together. A light weight golf trolley can easily be folded and lifted in and out of your car or locker. Being durable is an additional benefit. Manual trolleys are an inexpensive and wise alternative to an electric powered or hired trolley.
Electric Powered Trolleys
Only a handful of manufacturers were making electric powered golf trolleys a decade ago. These days there are plenty, since golfers both young and old now prefer to use one rather than drag the manual trolley around the course. In fact, they have become the saving grace of many elder golfers who used to feel fatigue while using a manual golf trolley which used to show in their performance. The electric cart is a sturdy, easily operable alternative to carrying a bag on the shoulder or pushing a cart manually. While weighing the options of buying an electric powered cart, go for one which has battery power that lasts longer than others, the electric carts are heavy to push and you will most certainly not want to be stranded on the furthest point from the clubhouse incase the cart's battery dies.
