You love your husband and have always believed him to be one of the best men around
. Despite that fact you do know that he has flaws (whether he'd ever dare admit them to himself or anyone else or not). You love him in spite of those flaws. Now though, you've just discovered a flaw that might test the limits of your love. What are you going to do about your cheating husband?
Know the Bad Boys in Good Men
Good men have some hidden bad boy image in them. It's just that some men hide this fact better than the others. It's just there, hiding on the surface of their being, you just don't see it. What's the difference between these men is on how they materialize these bad boy image they have. Some would go completely extreme in sports, others will just simply display a Billy Idol image or others will go brave and bold in their business ventures.
And you know what? Women love that about them. At least for the most part you do. There are some bad boy traits though that are incredibly unlovable and can prove lethal to most marriages. You have to decide if your marriage is strong enough to handle your husband cheating on you.
Draw the Line
Forgiving and tolerating are two different things. It's okay to forgive. It's another thing if your husband will think that you will tolerate another cheating act of him. If you feel that you are willing to forgive him and will start to work out on the marriage, you have to make it clear to him that this will be the only time that he will escape the consequences of his actions. Make him realize that he have to take good care of this chance given to him.
You can actually make him put it in writing that he will never cheat on you again, or even have him tattooed this words on his body (literally tattoo the words) to make it clear to him. You can also try using other means that will make sure that you are serious about this matter. He should be as well.
Your choices
Forgive him and start all over again. You believed that you have married a good man. And you love that man, no question about that. There might be things that you don't like about him (a few) it's still a part of that man that you are married to. You must lay down the rules, make sure these rules are followed and make a life that both of you will be happy sharing it with each other.
On the contrary...
You have to make a very difficult choice and decide to walk away. If you can't live with him after he has cheated, there is no shame. It's your choice to make - and not an easy choice at that. But it is one you'll have to live with.
