In the field of cosmetic surgery, Dr. Loren Borud is known for his excellent reputation and his decades of experience. He graduated form Minot High School and continued his study at Stanford University. At Stanford University, he took not one, but two majors all at one. They are Physics and Human Biology. The double major then gave him a B.S. degree with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He later continued his study for 8 years as a medical student at Harvard Medical School. After graduating, Dr. Loren Borud then entered a residency in general surgery at UCLA for 5 years. While doing this, he kept himself busy with performing 2 additional years of research in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Borud then added 3 more clinical years in plastic surgery to his training record. He worked at Bellevue Hospital, Mt. Sinai Hospital and Tisch Hospital in New York City.
