Furthermore, any wood against the ground is less likely to rot or suffer moisture damage, and the natural weathering process can enhance the look of the product.

Should you be looking more for additional seating, but you like the look of archways, an arbour might be a more attractive option for you because they are made up of a seat or bench and often have trellis or decorative metal sides which provide support to climbing plants growing up the sides of the structure. You can choose between normal untreated wood and tanalised timber, as with archways, and you can stain or paint them to suit your personal taste.

Other garden structures that you may consider are pergolas and pagodas which are well suited to being erected over a terrace, patio or hot tub. These can be custom made to suit the size of the area you want to fill and there are also different shapes to choose between such as square, star shaped and circular designs.

Garden building erection is a useful and cost effective way of increasing storage space with available options including full length work sheds and storage containers designed to hold furniture, bikes or garden tools. Another popular garden building option is a summerhouse which provides shelter from showers and wind and they can be filled with comfortable seating such as cane furniture and there is even the option of connecting electricity to them so you can enjoy listing to music or connect up a television.
