Day 14 on Losing Weight

Day 14 on Losing Weight
You can blame it on that extra slice of cheesecake or that bar of chocolate someone offered you. Eventually you'll notice next time you step on the weighing scale - you've gained a few pounds.
But don't fret. It's completely normal to be tempted to eat - especially if you're training yourself to eat less than the average person would. Diets can be frustrating and depressing at times, and we all know what people like to do when they're sad or tired. While you can make excuses for yourself all day, you're better off learning how to get back into course.
Today's lesson would be learning how to cope when you make a "mistake" in your diet. So you've strayed a bit from your usual meal. So what? It's not the end of the world - you can still get back in to the game. You just need to find ways to make sure that it won't happen again.
Of course, once you recover from shock with the weight gain (no matter how small it is), you should start reminding yourself what you're supposed to be eating in the first place. Drink lots of fresh water (about 9-13 cups a day), prepare food early, and eat food in strict moderation. You also need to get enough rest and exercise, while keeping yourself preoccupied with your other commitments.
You can scold yourself a little bit. After all, feeling bad about what you did is the first step to getting better. But just as much as you should make your criticisms to other constructive, you should also learn not to put yourself down. Think about what caused the "incident" and try to figure out what you ought to do about it. It's about challenging yourself to do what needs to be done to get back your diet.
Also, you have to consider appreciating your own achievements. Perhaps one of the reasons why you might get so depressed about your diet is that you don't see how much you're actually doing. Look at yourself in the mirror or take a look at the weighing scale and pat yourself on the back for losing even just a few pounds. Personal motivation is what will keep you, going.
Let's not forget day 14's menu. Have some Cherrios and banana, and then wash it down with either coffee or milk. Then have some peanut butter with some apple slices later in the day. You might also want to have some cabbage tossed in a salad. And just to keep the temptations away, treat yourself an, and just one, Oreo cookie.
Follow this menu along with a 35-mins brisk walk. You can also try walking your dog and taking a different route just to make the day's workout interesting.
