Can Chubby Girls Really Get Gorgeous Guys? Getting Past the Weight Issue

Do guys really only want skinny girls? Are super-model looks really so important? Of course chubby girls can get gorgeous guys. There is absolutely no reason why weight has to be an issue when it comes to dating. Just because a guy is gorgeous it doesn't automatically mean that he is obsessed with appearances. The only thing stopping chubby girls from finding happiness with the man of their dreams is the crisis of confidence that usually comes with carrying a little extra weight.

Society always tells us that skinny is attractive and fat is ugly but in some cultures it's the other way around. With so many of us now leading less than active lifestyles and carrying a little more around the waist than we'd like to, it's time to dispel this myth once and for all.

Another common misconception is that guys are only interested in size zero girls. This could not be further from the truth, in fact most men agree that the kind of tape-measure thin girls we always see strutting up and down the catwalk are unattractive and even a little freaky. Remember that fashion models are essentially nothing more than walking coat hangers. They are chosen largely by gay fashion designers and women who have a vested interest in selling smaller clothes, using less fabric, at higher prices. Using chubby girls would simply increase their overheads and fashion designers are notoriously greedy. Those few men that do find size-zero models attractive are either brainwashed by the media, just plain strange or hiding so far in the closet that they'll say anything to not be found out.

Of course the clich thing to say is that personality is just as important as what's on the outside, and it is, but it would be naive to think that physical appearance is not important at all. Sometimes the two go hand in hand - men admire confidence in a girl so it is important to be comfortable with your body and not feel insecure about the way you look.

With that in mind, I'm going to let you in on a little secret: men really don't care about how wide you are. Obviously, the false-pregnancy look is never flattering (except perhaps on the pregnant) but for men it's all about proportionality. It's ok to have a little extra fat on your thighs so long as it is mirrored in the upper portion of your body. Having a big butt is fine so long as you have ample breasts to match. Good breasts hide almost any degree of extra weight and are the chubby girls best friend - use them.
