Well first you want to make an appointment with a plastic surgeon. At the consultation you will need to be very candid. Let me be clear. By candid I mean they may need to take photos of you topless to see where your breasts hang. They may want to actually measure your breasts and they will talk about where they envision making an incision. They will take notice of nipple placement. All of this if unprepared, or even prepared, can be very embarrassing. This is what they need to do to get a picture of whether they can do what you are expecting. Further as there are different types of incisions this can give them an idea of how to go about it.
Your surgeon will choose out of three incisions depending on what's best for you: under the breast, through the armpit, or around the nipple. Once this is discussed your surgeon will want to discuss the type of implant they suggest. Saline and silicone are the two types of implants used. So what is the difference in these? Saline is filled with sterile salt water. If these implants leak your body could absorb the saline. If you go with silicone they have more of a natural feel, but you may need to visit your surgeon periodically to be sure the implants are not leaking. So once your surgery is complete what can you expect?
Recovery varies. You can expect to have day surgery, so a support person is a must. Over time swelling will go down and scarring will be minimal. You should be quite pleased with the outcome once you realize what you envisioned really did happen. Breast augmentations are not just the stuff of fantasies.
