The center of gravity also serves a major role in pregnant women. The curve and the posture of the spine could change with the abdomen enlargement. This leads to a shift on your center of gravity as it is directed towards your back and it eventually alters your balance.
Overheating must also be checked in the process of bodybuilding for pregnant women. There is a contention that, high body temperature causes birth defects and other complications in the process of giving birth. A fetus is denied means of perspiration or respiration, from which it can release heat. Therefore a pregnant woman must ensure that, her body's temperature doesn't go beyond 101 degrees when she is physically active. She should also take a lot of water when performing different exercises in order to prevent the possible dehydration and overheating.
Other symptoms like, maternal or fetal Distress must be checked thoroughly and one should stop exercising in case she notices such conditions. Let bodybuilding be a fun moment for pregnant women and not something to add more stress. It would be rather safe to not train if you are not sure of how to go about it, rather than risk the lives of both you and the fetus.
