1. Do more multi-jointed exercises - Basically, you want to use more muscle groups in your workouts. So, instead of doing isolated exercises such as bicep curls, do multi-jointed exercises like lunges, squats, or push ups. You won't believe how effective this can be.

2. Do combination exercises - This is a tip I got from John Romaniello from Final Phase Fat Loss 2.0: you can do exercises which combine a number of movements into one. For instance, you can do lunges and bicep curls together. You can also do spider push-ups and work your abs in the process or squats and shoulder presses. Again, you're working more muscle groups and burning more calories.

3. Do your workout faster - One way to make any workout harder is to squeeze in more of your exercises into less time. This is called density training and it is a great way to burn more calories and fat faster than ever before. So, set a challenge to yourself to do more in a shorter time.

4. Calm yourself down as much as possible - This may seem like it's not really connected to anything, but it is. Stress causes a release of a hormone called cortisol. This, in turn, may lead to excess belly fat. By keeping calm, you can avoid this. So, sleep more, do yoga, and keep yourself away from stressful situations.

5. Challenge yourself during each gym visit - Don't just repeat your workouts or go through the motions. Make sure to really make an effort during each workout to ensure that you're making the most of your time. This is the way to burn more fat fast.
