1 Small Change That Will Help You Lose Weight Fast

Have you been dreading trying to lose weight because you think it will be a major

life change that you're not ready for? Or have you been duped by the media into thinking that it requires jogging on a treadmill for hours every week and starving yourself?

Whatever the case, you CAN lose weight fast if you change one simple thing that I'm about to share with you. You'll never feel like you're starving, and there's no running involved!

I want to introduce you to a little thing I like to call the hunger scale...

Think of your hunger as a scale from 0-10. If you are at a 0, you will feel very hungry and it's time to eat. Once you hit a 5, you should feel satisfied (not hungry or full) and should stop eating right there. If you've hit a 10 you have eaten way too much and are extremely full (think Thanksgiving dinner).

Putting your hunger and eating habits on a scale will help you keep track of how you're doing and give you something to work on. What you should do is record the number you start at, and then the number you end at. For example, if you're just slightly hungry when you sit down to eat, then eat a bit too much so you feel a bit full, your numbers might look like this: meal #1: 2-7.

Keep track of how you do at every meal over the next week. Try your best to stay within the 0-5 range, but don't stress out if you go over. It's important to be honest with yourself and accurately record your progress. And just so you know, most of the time you won't stay in the 0-5 range, especially in your first week of keeping track. Just shoot for those numbers and keep trying to improve.

With practice and diligence you will get to the point where you can consistently keep your numbers low. As you get better, you'll find that any extra weight you've been carrying around just goes away. Our bodies aren't designed to be overweight, so when you listen to it and only eat when you're actually hungry you will naturally go down to the weight you should be at.

As you change your eating habits remember to drink lots of water. You may accidentally mistake the feeling of thirst for being hungry, which can lead you to eat before you're actually hungry. When you start to feel like you're almost at a one, immediately go drink a glass of water and wait 10 minutes or so. If you're still hungry, then it's time to have a small meal. But if not, your body was just a little dehydrated and was asking for water.
