You then have to account for all the food, drink and entertainment which may add on another 2000 or more!
To add onto the bill you then have printing of the invitations and place cards, buttonholes, and transportation costs to and from the church and photographer. All of these combined may cost well over 1200. A wedding cake costs on average 200 at the very least. Of course there is the honeymoon to account for and unless you want to spend a rainy weekend in Blackpool, you may be looking at 1,500 or more.
The cost of the average wedding is frightening when it's laid out as above. Comparing wedding insurance and having something to fall back on if the worst should happen can bring peace of mind.
