Womens Swimwear: One Pieces Can Be Just As Sexy As A Bikini.

The term swimsuit tends to drag up images of aged aunts in mothball smelling one pieces that lack appropriate chest support

. The word bikini, however, brings forth all of those scantily clad, sports illustrated models. You probably dont even remember what they were actually wearing, where as the loudly obnoxious floral print of Aunt Ednas ancient suit is burned into your memory.

Thanks to these two completely different iconic images, the one piece swimsuit has been tarred and feathered into the same category as old-fashioned granny suits. This isnt really fair. After all, a string bikini could be just as bad if your Aunt Edna wore it, age-spots and all. There now, you see how it was really just an unfortunate association?

One piece swimwear isnt inherently prudish or matronly. It can be just as sexy, if not more so, than a bikini. Given a choice between a burkini and a micro thong bikini, the majority of the population would have a better chance of rocking the total coverage of the burkini, which is a fine example of slimming swimwear. The truth is that it isnt what you wear, but how you wear it. If you emerge out of the change room arms crossed in front of you, head down in humiliated apology to the world, well then, the world is going to demand an apology. Frankly, no one looks good when they are folding into themselves and skittering around like a fearful mouse in a room full of ravenous cats.

What if you decided to just step out, head up, shoulders back, slightly smirky smile in place? The world wouldnt come crashing down and you might just enjoy yourself. Look around, very few people can fill out their swimwear without showcasing some of their less appealing features. The key is not to think about it. Concentrate instead on the parts that are being shown off well or better yet, think of all the things you can do now that you arent obsessing about yourself. Let narcissism rest for awhile. Go for a swim, play some beach volleyball, build a sandcastle or simply hang out with the other folks who were brave enough to step out in swimwear. With a little faked confidence, it can be a brave new world.
