Scarves have been very popular, especially to women, all over the world. You might see that women now and even in the old times have been well accustomed of them around their neck. Whether they are in the office, strolling around town, at the beach, in the mall, at church or at a party, you can always see different colors of scarves around their neck. These are the reasons why women always seem to love them:
To make a fashion statement
This would be the primary reason why most women like to wear scarves around their neck. It is because with only a single scarf, any kind of outfit would become unique, attractive and fashionable. Scarves are said to be the most versatile fashion accessory and is not intended only for cold weather. It can be worn in any occasion, season or outfit. What it needs is for women to tie them into unique knots around their neck and their outfit will then become perfect.
To keep them warm

Sometimes skin darkening or pigmentation, due to hormonal changes or various reasons, appears on the neck that women think to be really ugly. There are certain religions that women are really required to wear scarves. These pieces of clothing symbolize the character, modesty and sanctity of a person. Women wrap themselves with these around their neck or over their head to cover certain female body parts that are believed to be sacred and should not be open to the public. Disobedience of this rule means disloyalty and it is against their sacred scriptures.
