Obesity is caused by too many dietary calories, lack of exercise, and can also be a hereditary condition. Obese individuals have the higher chance of having a heart disease which is also one of the most dangerous and life-threatening illness. Heart disease may refer to inability of the heart to perform its function properly. Heart disease often leads to death if not treated accordingly. Diabetes can be defined as a situation where an individual has high amount of blood sugar. Human body's blood sugar level may rise if there is not enough amount of insulin in the body or the cells does not respond on the presence on insulin. Having high blood pressure is another life-threatening disease wherein it may lead to heart failure, coronary heart disease, kidney and heart failure and even stroke. Blood pressure is the blood's force when it's pushing against the arteries' wall as human heart pumps out the blood. If the blood pressure is always high, it can manifest to severe damage in the human body.

Starting a weight loss diet is difficult. You may found yourself very committed and dedicated for a day or two to realize that next day you have to start from scratch again. Gaining too much weight or being overweight can cause great risk and dangers to the body. Importance of losing weight and different kinds of weight loss diets will not be introduced if it offers advantages to human body. So far, other than being cute and huggable, there is no given advantage of being overweight. This will give you more reason to start a weight loss diet if you're one of those who find it difficult to find a pair of pants and a triple extra large shirt at the mall.
