However, if you decide that plastic surgery is something you are interested in, make sure you are realistic in your expectations and try not to be too disappointed if you find what you were thinking of cannot be done. The best approach is to interview with several qualified surgeons and talk to them about your desires, then listen closely to their advice. If you decide you may be interested in having a procedure done, educating yourself is the first thing you should do, before committing to anything.
There will always be risks in any surgery, but the technology has advanced rapidly in the last few years and procedures are much safer, so the benefits would seem to outweigh the risks involved. Keep in mind that an improvement in your appearance is a benefit that you will always have with you for years to come.
