Fad diets and low calorie snacks are the first things many people think of when first attempting to lose weight. There are tons are fad diets advertised of TV and the grocery store is packed with low calorie snacks, such as those 100-calorie cookie snacks. Since most people follow whatever they see and hear, they assume fad diets and low calorie snacks are the right way to losing weight. Well, the truth is that they aren't.

The diet industry is a huge market for advertisers trying to sell this garbage because they know people will always fall for it. Food companies know that people want to lose weight fast and easy, so they create these scam products (fad diet products and low calorie snacks) for those gullible enough to actually buy it! These fad diets are not even nutritious, to say the least, they actually contain substitutes to real foods that make people want to eat more! In return, people continue purchasing these products and the diet company makes more money. For example, these 100-calorie snack packages are totally aimed at gullible women who can't sacrifice junk food. Food companies take out sugar (calories) and replace it withaspartame, which is a sweet tasting chemical used in rat poison. This is true with any low-fat, low-calorie or low-sugar food product. The reason these foods are low-fat/calorie/sugar is because the REAL ingredients are removed and replaced with unhealthy filler garbage that is worse for you than the actual ingredient that contains more fat, calories or sugar. Diet foods can actually make you gain weight!

Calories are not always bad. The diet industry has programmed everyone to believe that calories are bad and will make you fat. Yes, calories in junk food will make you fat, but calories in healthy foods are necessary for survival. Every food has either good or bad calories in it. If the food is unhealthy, the calories are bad. If the food healthy, the calories are good. It's that simple. It's ironic because the calories in diet products are bad, but they are portrayed to appear good for you. Your body requires around 2,000 calories a day to function, so what's even the point to eating low-calorie foods? Make those 2,000 calories useful to your body; don't waste them on junk food and worthless 100-calorie snack that are filled with poison.

The fact is that you don't need any diet product or low calories/fat/sugar products to lose weight! Don't waste your hard-earned money on those scam products. Just eat a healthy, balanced diet with natural foods. Keep your portions in line with the food guide pyramid and you will definitely lose weight! While I don't recommend fad diets and low-calorie snack, I do advise drinking 100% organic tea that flushes toxins out of the body, which assists in weight loss.
