Which Companies Sell Medifast? Where Can I Get It

I get this question a lot. People want to know if they can buy medifast foods (bars, shakes, pudding, soups, ice cream, brownies, etc.) in their local supermarket, their local supercenter their pharmacy, or at online retailers.
You won't find medifast products (in the shakes) on the aisles of your grocery, drug store of super center as of this writing. The company doesn't distribute the product through 3rd party retailers although it does allow for 3rd parties to offer discounts and coupons.
Medifast Centers: Is There One By You?: If you're looking for a brick and mortar place to buy medifast, you might be one of the few lucky folks who has access to a center. As of this writing, there are centers in: Alabama (2 centers;) Arizona (4;) California (9;) Florida (3;) Georgia (2;) Maryland (8;) Minnesota (5;) Pennsylvania (2;) Texas (24;) and Virginia (6.)
As you can probably see, if you live in Texas, you might have a lot of centers to chose from but the rest of us aren't so lucky. There are a couple of centers in my state but they are hours away. It doesn't make sense for me to burn the gas and time all the way over there.
From what I've heard, the centers are more involved. Some people may really like going for a consultation and being walked through the process, but that was never my style which is why I've always stayed away from diets that require weigh ins and counselors.
So what happens if you want to order medifast but you don't have a center? You can easily order online. You order from the company itself. You can find a link to the site here. Yes, you are ordering online but this isn't a difficult process. It probably takes less than five minutes. You can order either a 2 or 4 week package or you can order the foods individually if you like. The order is shipped right to your door.
And you aren't left in the dark. You're given a quick start guide and you get a lot of instruction. But if you have any questions, there's free counseling available. There's also forums on medifast's site and blogs from people as they lose weight and continue along the path. So if you're someone who needs support, it is there. Just because you're buying the medifast foods online this doesn't mean that you are totally on your own.
No, you don't get the one on one "face time" like you do in a center. But not every one has access to a center and not every one wants this. I know that people often tell me that they're disappointed that they can't just pick up some medifast at the store, but ordering online really isn't that big of a deal. You'll have your food in just a few days and, in the meantime, you can start gathering some lean and green recipes.
