When it comes to wedding planning there are a lot of things that you will need to keep in mind. You will find that wedding planning is something that can be incredibly expensive, stressful and time consuming. Make sure that you and your partner are able to understand what is important and what isn't when it comes to planning your dream wedding.
You will soon find that a lot of what you think is important isn't nearly as important as you originally thought it was. You will be able to have a much nicer time and experience whenever you are able to take a step back and see the big picture.
Budget
You will of course have to keep your budget in mind. You may need to end up cutting some corners on a few other things for the year so that you can have a good wedding budget. This may mean that when you celebrate Christmas that year that you give homemade gifts or lower the budget a little more than usual. You will want of course for your wedding to be special and beautiful and perfect but you don't want to go deep into debt to get it.
Expectations
You have to realize that your day is not going to be perfect. You are not going to be able to have everything go as planned and you are not going to even be able to enjoy a lot of the things that you put hours into. Your wedding planning day is going to be extremely busy. Between getting ready, saying vows and taking pictures you will be lucky to sit down in between. Make sure that you and your soon to be spouse understand that your day is not going to be perfect so don't rely too heavily on this happening.
Importance
Remember what is most important. You and your spouse, you will get to have your friends and family near you to celebrate your love for each other. When it comes down to it, nobody is going to care what color the napkins are or if the tablecloths match the bridesmaids dresses.
