What Are The Most Common Mistakes A Bride And Groom Makes When Planning Their Wedding?
For most couples, marriage only happens once in their lifetime that is why they normally get excited about the upcoming event
. This emotion could sometimes be overwhelming that the couples might make a wrong decision and will end up regretting it when their wedding day arrives. Because of their excitement they happen to overlook obvious signs that can lead to disaster and should have been avoided.
The following lists are the most common mistakes couple make. This will serve the upcoming bride and groom as a lesson thus enabling them to prevent such scenarios.
Do not make rush decisions. Most couple are so excited that they often make the mistake about making rush decision when booking wedding vendors. They forget to ask references and collect feedback. They also forgot to compare details or packages that each different wedding vendors offers. Before the two of you make a decision, weight all the pros and cons. If you decided to go along with it, think of what consequences that will happen. If you think there are none, then go ahead with it. If possible make yourself available to conduct further research regarding the wedding vendor of your choice. This will give you more idea whether you will regret hiring this vendor or not.
Do not be easily convinced with advertisements and persuasions by wedding vendors. Saying good things about their company or what services they can offer is one way of getting more customers. They just dont flaunt their flaws. If they do, they will lose their customers and their business will be bankrupt. There are some wedding vendors who suggest that you should do this or do that or have this or that on your wedding even if these things are unnecessary. Do not be easily maneuvered into making this decision. Have your say. Be aggressive in letting the vendor know what you want. If the vendor resist, go look for another one.
Another common mistake that normally happens to most couples is inaccurate budgets. Never guess how much expenses you are going to spend. You sometimes end up miscalculating your budget. If possible, prepare a list of the things that you need i.e. dress and shoes, food, venue, cake, wine, music, etc. Base on these lists, check out the stores that offers such items and jot down their prices. Compare notes and choose which one you think is best.
Lastly, never go beyond your budget. Even if you are excited and wanted to achieve your dream wedding, always be strict when it comes to your budget and keep track of how much you have spent and how much money you have left.
