There are hundreds of thousands web sites as well as hundreds free or paid plans or programs you can choose from. At the end of a day you have no idea which one to chose. But that's not the reason most people fail at all. Most programs work and it's only people who fail to fallow the regime from a start to the end.

The main problem people have is to stick to the plan and here comes the issue of goal setting. Many people don't set any goals at all. They have a brief idea what they want to achieve and that's it. No plan, no time frame... nothing. With that attitude there is no chance to achieve any kind of success in any area of life including weight loss. Others set unattainable goals either in setting too strict time frames or aiming too high, or both. Along the road these people discover there would be a chance to get the results they were after. That results in them being disheartened and ditching their whole plan whatsoever. The right way to do it is to set one final goal you want to achieve and set attainable time for it. If you have no idea how long would the weight loss program take set rough estimation. You could always change it along the way slightly but don't allow yourself to change the final date only because you are struggling to stick to your weight loss plan. Now, with the final goal in mind, divide it into smaller goals and set them in a timetable. That way you would be able to focus on a little goal at a time and you won't be overwhelmed with the huge task in front of you. The other important thing here is to celebrate and prize yourself every time you achieve a small goal. That would keep you motivated. The proper goal setting is a vital part on the way to have your dream weight. If you would be able to stay motivated and focused on your goal there will be nothing on the way to your success.
