Fasting is probably one of the worst things you can do for your body on a regular basis. This will not only make you hungrier and eat more at whatever meal you choose to eat, it also will trick your body into thinking that you are starving and this can cause your body to hoard which can also cause you to actually gain weight instead of losing weight. And for some people, if they do this over prolonged periods of time through the years can actually lead them to the road of Type 2 Diabetes if not careful.

One of the best ways and healthiest ways to lose weight is to eat 4 to 5 small meals throughout the day, foods such as nuts, fruits, fresh or frozen vegetables, small amounts of meats and grains. Combine this with daily exercise of at least 20 minutes a day, you should be able to gradually lose weight and remain healthy at the same time.
