Affirmations will help you wrap your mind around your desires and keep you focused as to where you want to be. So if you're in the game let's get moving on these.

Goal #1: Determine Your Ideal Healthy Weight

The real purpose for the weight loss affirmation is so you can determine an ideal healthy weight to strive for and that you can accomplish. Picture yourself as to how you're going to look at this weight. Please use some accurate method to determine your ideal healthy weight. Confer with a doctor if necessary. It is relevant at this point to bring up an important subject. What is your ideal healthy weight and furthermore suppose you just can't get there? It is safe to say that society has established some pretty strict standards when it comes to appearance and obesity.

You definitely recognize morbid obesity when you see it. This is a person who cannot perform daily tasks without great effort and strain. But what happens to the rest of us when you can't match up to these tables that set the standards for a person's ideal height, weight and body mass index? What about if you are too thin?

There is a risk of being too thin especially if you're not fit. It would be much better to be slightly overweight according to the index but be fit and healthy. Apply your common sense and never guess your correct weight or base your number on the weight you would love to be. Base your weight on where it needs to be for an active life that allows you to be fit and happy.

Goal#2: Remember Goal#1!!!

You have established your ideal healthy weight and now you have to get there. If you don't it's just another lost effort. Our plan is not going to include fad diets or diet pills that bring you nowhere but back to ground zero. If you need a role model think about the centenarians who live in the Blue Zones throughout the world. How did they do this? By eating right and performing physical activity throughout their life. Your body requires you to exercise it regularly with aerobic and strengthening exercises to give it the vitality and strength it needs.Fit this into Goal#2. Your diet should consist of fresh fruit and vegetables. You need to avoid processed foods and fast foods. Eat fresh food and limit your intake to 1800- 2800 calories a day for a man and less for a woman.

Goal #3- Stop Boring Yourself and Believe It!

Okay, we have Goal#1 and Goal#2 planned, now how are we going to convince ourselves that we are going to accomplish these without falling off the wagon? Here Enters Goal #3. First, why is it necessary that I believe it? Can't I just get going?

Well you might have started down this road before only to turn back or just stand there and get lost. If your mind or subconscious doesn't get into this game you'll probably lose.

So now you are bringing a helper into Goal #3- your head.

Most affirmations have a better chance of completion when they are in writing and you should clearly spell out what your achieving by reaching your goals. Detail how you have changed your life by eating better, looking better and feeling better. Talk about your journey of where you started and how each day you took a step closer to achieving Goal#1. Talk about how you might have been tempted to give up but you remembered this article and said NOT TODAY OR EVER!! And finally when you get to your goal how proud you are of yourself and how you're not going back to the old way or weigh (your choice).

Goal #4- Reminding Yourself Daily

Remember for Goal#3 you got your head into the game. Well now you have to keep it in the game. How? By rehearsing your written Goals #1 through #3. You need to hear them out loud probably twice a day so you don't forget them. There is a saying about when you free your mind your rear end will follow. Keep your body parts in the game with your head.

So here are your Weight Loss Affirmations simply stated: plan it wisely, make a lifestyle change, get your head into the game and bring your body with you. Keep talking to yourself because you are your own best friend. This doesn't have to be agony. Take joy in the fact that your journey will have the reward you want and deserve.
