Rome is easy to reach :
By plane : Rome has two main international airports: - Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Rome Fiumicino, code FCO) - well organized and connected to the center of the city by public transportation - Ciampino International Airport - (Rome Ciampino, code CIA) located to the south of the capital, Low cost flights with Easyjet, Ryanair ,Wizzair flights, and many other airlines fly to Ciampino Airport (CIA). This small airport is closer to the city center than Fiumicino but has no direct train connection but many bus shuttles to reach the heart of Rome.
By train: Rome's main railway station is Termini Station. Other main stations include Ostiense, Trastevere, Tuscolana, Tiburtina.
By boat: Cruise ships dock in nearby port of Civitavecchia. Now it is possible to dock in new Port of Rome called Ostia, located a few kilometers from Rome and linked by train and buses.
