Weddings - Get a Professional Photographer before you do a Preacher
Your wedding day is supposed to be special. When it is done according to plan, it is a once in a lifetime event. It is the one day filled with anticipation, excitement, happiness, and pure joy from beginning to end. You will want to remember it with the fondness and sentiment of the experience of the day.
The one true professional you should never skimp on is getting a real professional photographer. The day is short, the ceremony is even shorter, the pictures will last you a lifetime. Why on earth would you leave such an important task to an amateur?
Here are 10 great reasons to hire a professional photographer for your wedding.
Even if the day is not perfect, your pictures will be.We see a lot of weddings. We know what to expect. We anticipate where the action is going to be and position ourselves for the shot.
Your friends and family want to enjoy the day to. Why put that kind of pressure on your cousin Sue. Imagine how bad she will always feel if she screws up your shots. It's just not right.
Its all about the tools. As a professional photographer I have invested thousands of dollars for top of the line cameras, lenses, lighting, tripods and you name it. I have the equipment for the job and I know how to use it.
High action response. As a professional, I am always shooting! I can grab a camera, fire it up, make a change and get the shot in seconds. Most Amateurs will miss "the shot".
Its what we do. While there is a certain amount of creativity in our routine, there is still a routine for these types of events. There is no learning curve because we are professionals. We have done this before, usually many, many times. We go over the timeline with you. We go over the things that are important to you. We get the shots.
We have the best computers. Most people think photographers are only about the cameras. Not anymore. Digital pictures require storage on reliable computers. What if the computer dies and takes all your photo's with it. Most people never think about this. Neither will your Uncle Joe.
What you don't know can hurt you. What format will your pictures be in? What if you take pictures with a camera that produces them in a small jpg format. They looked fine on the camera but when you go to print them they are all grainy. This is just one example. A professional will be able to show you exactly the quality of the product you will be receiving.
Urgency. Aunt Jane took your pictures and then went on a two week vacation. She may eventually get them to you, but the truth is she is under no real obligation to get them to you on any expected timeline. Your professional photographer senses the same urgency to get your pictures to you as you do.
Editing for perfection. It can typically take a week after the wedding on edits and organizational tasks. When you do get your pictures, they will be as near perfection as possible.
Its too important. Too many people find that their wedding pictures are a huge disappointment when taken by an amateur. They don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but everybody knows
Let your friends and relatives take pictures at Christmas. If we are lucky they will have several decades to get it right. But you wedding is a one time shotYour pictures will last a lifetime. Why on earth would you leave that to chance?
