1. Presentation Basics: When sending out wedding invitations, it is essential to understand the basics of presentation. Your expectations with respect to the dress code for the wedding must be listed in the wedding invitation itself in order to give the guests enough time to prepare themselves and ensure a smooth event for you as well.
5. Gifts: If taking and cherishing gifts from your guests is not a comfortable thought for you, stating this in the wedding invite would be a good idea, to let the guests know that you only solicit their good wishes in the form of their blessings and no more. It would also be a good idea to let your guests know if you would like them to donate to charity or for a noble cause, which you, support as a couple. Although, suggesting gifts may still not be considered appropriate in most wedding invitations, it is always best to keep your guests in the open about it.
