. One of the most important consideration is where are you going to get married. People fly all over the world looking for the perfect location and I'm going to tell you why Utah weddings are the best.
Around the world you will find wedding locations and a popular trend today is skipping the traditional wedding and getting married on your honeymoon. Whether its just the two of you or if the whole family is there you will find the best of both worlds in Utah.
Now the first consideration is timing, realize that even if you plan the wedding a year in advance it is next to impossible to fit with everyone's schedule. Pick a day that works for you and everyone else will do what they can to make it work for them.
One big reason destination weddings are becoming so popular is that it takes the hassle out of getting hitched. Hotels and other venues usually take a "we will take care of everything for you" approach. If you find the right place they will get the licenses, arrange for someone to officiate, get a florist and photographer, and provide the cake and reception dinners!
Once the wedding is over you can go right to the honeymoon. Everyone's honeymoon is different and that's why a Utah wedding is the best because you can quickly get to any type of honeymoon you want too.
If you are the outdoors type then this is the place for you with more national parks than almost any other state. You can visit the "old west" in one of the five best national parks out there: Zion, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, or Capitol Reef, known for their amazing canyons and amazing land features. In or around these parks you can do everything from biking, and hiking to fishing and offroading.
Or if your getting married in the winter six of the top ten ski resorts in the world are located in northern Utah. Its no wonder that the state slogan was "the greatest snow on earth" for so long. With so many resorts close by you can ski or board several in one day and hop down to salt lake city or Park city for the night.
Finally if you are the city type make sure to head down town and check out the amazing temple square and capital hill. So no mater what you are looking for Utah weddings are the best!
