True African American Skin Care Goes Organic
You are an organic being, made entirely of organic material
, so why would you accept anything but organically grown, natural ingredients in your skin care products?
I'll give you a very good reason why you should go organic: Those over-the-counter skin preparations (I can't bring myself to call them skin "care" products) are chemically based, have no natural ingredients and in fact contain the same chemical components to the stuff used in brake fluid and the embalming chemicals used to preserve dead bodies!!
We won't even go into how they come up with the artificial fragrances and dyes in those products, it would take all day - and put you right off, but suffice to say they can cause irritation to your skin and eyes, so while they might smell "nice" you need to avoid using them.
Would you use any of those products if you knew what they really contained? Of course not! So now that you do know, perhaps we can move on to what you would be willing to use on the largest organ of your body, your wonderful, versatile beautiful black skin.
No matter what challenge your skin throws at you, you can guarantee that there is a way to fix it using organic ingredients found in nature.
For example many African American women suffer with inflammation and irritation of the skin, and most of the time that situation can be easily avoided by using good quality, purpose made products that are in harmony with the human body and won't irritate and harm the surface of your skin.
In fact most of the organic ingredients work, not only on the surface, but sink deep into your skin to heal and rejuvenate the very cells that make up your new skin.
When it comes to scent, these days there are so many more innovative skin care technologies that use natural ingredients to make the product smell good, so you don't have to put up with unscented organic products, but you can completely say goodbye to those synthetic fragrances that irritate your skin, you don't need them any more.
Read product labels carefully to make sure that you are selecting natural, organic products specifically made for dark skin. If you know that your skin has already been damaged by those over-the-counter products, or even by sun damage or acne scarring, then my advice is to begin the regular, concentrated use of antioxidants like green tea extract, which will work to calm and soothe the surface of your skin as well as heal and regenerate the new cells underneath.
Green tea is perfect for swollen capillaries in your face, (they show up as red looking patches on your cheeks or nose). You may have some other skin irritation that presents as dryness and flaking, well green tea works wonders to smooth out the surface of your face, and as a bonus the caffeine content will tighten your skin so your face is firm and soft again!
You wouldn't drink brake fluid or embalming fluid, but you could drink green tea, so make sure you don't put stuff you wouldn't drink on your skin either!
