If your like me, you have struggled on and off with your weight problem
. You may have been up and down in weight many times. You also have tried probably many diet plans that don't seem to work for you. Or, they are just too hard to follow. Some have even tried diet pills and never achieved the results they wanted.
There are different ways to get rid of fat, and keep it off. I found a way that works so well I hope you can benefit from it too.
The first thing to avoid in your foods is fructose corn syrup. This is something that you should try to avoid completely. Let me explain. Fructose has been aggressively promoted as a natural sugar. The truth is fructose didn't exist 20 years ago. Further truths include:
Fructose is not from a fruit. It is a commercially refined sugar.
High fructose consumption has been fingered as a causative factor in heart disease.
Fructose raises blood levels of cholesterol and another kind of fat, triglyceride.
Fructose makes blood cells more prone to clotting, and it may also accelerate the aging process.
Most fructose sneaks into the diet in the forms of sucrose and HFCS. Sucrose breaks down during digestion into equal parts of glucose and fructose. HFCS consists of 55 percent fructose blended with 45 percent glucose.
These are just a few of the facts. As is the case with any other refined food, a little fructose won't hurt you. In laymen terms, fructose corn syrup will make you gain weight. What fructose corn syrup does, is block the receptors in your brain, which in turn, stops the signal if you are full or not. So if you eat a lot of fructose corn syrup foods, you will, or most probably, over eat. The other bad thing about Fructose Corn Syrup is that is raises up your blood sugar level. No good!
If you have kids, or just love the junk food, like assorted candies, potato chips, and sodas, do try and avoid them completely, or at least, as much as possible. Now that high fructose corn syrup is being added to an increasing variety of foods (breads, cereals, soft drinks, and condiments); some people are looking for ways to avoid it. I personally cut them out entirely and feel a lot healthier. After a short while you don't even miss it.
The next thing is stick with smaller meals. Six small portions, or meals, is better than 3 large meals. First of all, you won't have the urge to eat those junk foods when you are eating regularly throughout the day. Secondly, and so important, is you need food in your system to burn fat. This increases your metabolism. You do not even have to count calories. Yes, you read that right. If you eat low calorie foods, there is no incentive for your body to increase it's metabolic rate since it only has to burn a few calories. The end result is that your metabolic rate always remains at a very low level. So, when your metabolic rate is low, you aren't able to burn fat.
Bottom line, cut out fructose and eat 6 smaller meals a day and you will definitely see a major difference.
