Best of Weddings by the Knot, the leading online wedding planning website in the United States.
The awards were voted for by brides who have hosted their destination weddings at the idyllic beachfront resort.

Brides and grooms planning tropical weddings in Florida can choose from picturesque settings for the ceremony including the soft sandy beach, a covered terrace, or a grand ballroom. The resort caters for weddings of all sizes, from 10 guests up to 150 guests.
There are a range of wedding packages to choose from and the resort is offering a special reduced package for couples planning weddings in Florida this summer.
The package offers a ceremony at the reduced rate of $250; complimentary Gulf View Suite for the bride and groom on the evening of the wedding; discounted room rates for wedding guests; complimentary pre-ceremony lemonade and sparkling water; four-tray hors d oeuvres, a four-hour premium bar, salad and entres; and 10% off spa treatments for the bridal party.
The package is available for weddings booked between 1st June and 30th September, 2012.
The luxury resort is perfect for romantic beach weddings and couples can enjoy a wide selection of upscale facilities including a rooftop pool, whirlpool spa and sundeck; the Marco Beach Ocean Resort Spa with a wide range of rejuvenating treatments within eight treatments rooms, steam rooms and a sauna; a modern fitness centre; and an array of gourmet restaurants that offer a choice of international cuisine and sophisticated bars and lounges that provide a relaxing environment for cocktails.
