These diets are simple and fairly easy to follow, but are generally only good for losing weight quickly. Often times the weight comes back once you have stopped the diet. This is also another diet that does not teach you healthier ways of selecting food, which contributes to gaining the weight back after.

Flexible- These diets are popular because they allow people to chose whatever food they would like to eat. Instead of a limited selection of food, they help you monitor how many calories, or how much fat, you are eating. While this helps people be bit more choosy with what they get, the diet doesn't account for calories from sugar, which is the downfall of many who try this method.
