Reconnecting With Your Ex Girlfriend - You Know What You Really Want To Happen

This is a lie that guys will tell themselves when they are trying to reconnect with an ex girlfriend

. They will say that they just want to see what she is up to and they just want to talk to her again. What they really mean is that they want to have her back in their life as a girlfriend again. You don't want to lie to yourself about your real intentions if you are trying to reconnect with your ex girlfriend. The only one that gets hurt when you do that is YOU. It's much better to be truthful with yourself and admit to the fact that you want to reconnect with your ex girlfriend because you really want her back.

What steps can you take to make that happen?

1. You don't want to let her know that you really want her back, not right away.

Okay, so some guys will get all bent out of shape because they think that being deceptive is the most horrible thing that a guy can be. I'd agree with that for most things, but not ALL things. When you are trying to reconnect with your ex girlfriend, it's a good idea to be a little bit low key about the fact that you want her back. I said that you shouldn't lie to yourself and that is true. However, if you have to be a little bit evasive about wanting her back when you call her up again... that's not the worst thing in the world.

2. You also don't want to be a speed demon, take things as slow as they need to go.

Sometimes you will find yourself in a situation with your ex girlfriend where things are moving really fast and if that is the case, then go with it. However, if she seems to be a little on the hesitant side, it's not bad to put on the brakes a little and slow down. Pace yourself and make sure that your pace matches hers so that it doesn't seem like you are trying to move things too fast for her.

3. Commit to the idea that you are going to win her back.

You can't have one leg in and one leg out, you have to be fully committed to winning back your ex girlfriend. Guys who try to make their move without fully being committed to the idea usually end up losing their chance to win her back at some point and it goes back to the fact that they were not fully committed to winning back their ex girlfriend.
