Dark colour car paint when polished with traditional rubbing compounds present several micro-scratches on the top.
The major polishes on the market fill these scratches with oil, petroleum or filling agents. After the job into body shop the paint looks shiny and very good, but after some time under the sunlight or after a car wash, when these filling products are removed, You can see on the top the scratches.
The new generation of CERAMIC POLISH or ULTRAFINE HOLOGRAM FREE POLISH go to work mechanically and they remove definitively the scratches. After that you can see the car under the direct sunlight without any defect also after a car wash. These products can be applied with foamed wool pads or foamed pads. Foam pad leave the surface more shine, wool pad has more cutting action.
Also some Horbital polisher can help in reducing the holograms.
You can use holograms only on dark colour paint.
