She beat other contenders like Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears, and Ellen DeGeneres to secure the top spot. As it goes, Oprah Winfrey with her own chat show and magazine has made more money than the other top 5 put together!

Oprah Winfrey displays earnings of about $324 million in the past year and annually! By any standards, this is a whopping amount. When it is considered that the number 2 spot is taken by the beautiful Beyonce Knowles with $89 million as her take home earnings, Oprah's achievement comes into a better perspective.
