Not Every Yoga Program Is Your Program
Yoga is not a religion
Yoga is not a religion. It is a discipline, a form of workout, an art of attaining nirvana, and the philosophy to live a healthy life. Yoga cannot be limited to its definition. It offers much more than what we actually think. Yoga offers divine wellness. It is not wrong to put yoga in the bracket of holistic health sciences. A number of experts from the field of medicine have shown keen interest to know more about it.
No two bodies are the same; each has its own attributes. Therefore, every yoga program is not your program; there should be a yoga program custom-made to cater to specific requirements of your body, mind and soul. If you go to yoga classes or join some yoga group, you may not get the desired results. It is important to have a personalized, customized program that lays importance on your specific needs. All individual are different and so are their requirements. Similarly, yoga has its various aspects, offerings and remedies for different needs.
Yoga is a very old discipline, passed on from the gurus to their disciples, and has undergone a lot of changes/modifications that has led to different branches of yoga. It is difficult to practice all. Yoga needs to be complemented with a lot of factors such as the right diet, the ambience, and the medium of learning yoga. Also, one must keep in mind that yoga must be like devotion that should not be avoided or stopped. If you do so, you will not only stop supplying fuel to your soul but also cut the means of having a fit mind and body.
There are
yoga programs specifically designed for teens, women, kids, working professional and sports persons keeping in mind their lifestyle, their schedule and comfort factor. Hence, having a personalized program gives you the right option that helps you sustain and gain from yoga.
People who opt for yoga not only obtain health benefits but also get a peaceful mind and spiritual healing. We all need to go through ups and downs, rough phases that take a toll on our daily life. We can do nothing much but continue with our lives and deal with it the way it comes. The minimum we can is to give proper attention to the needs of our body, mind and soul.
We tend to disregard the necessity of yoga that offers us a plethora of benefits. It is much better and far wiser to opt for yoga than to go for sweaty sessions of aerobics and gyms. It's not that they are not effective or right; they certainly are. But they only have benefits for your body and not for your mind and soul.
Yoga is the means of experiencing divine wellness, the path of attaining nirvana and the feeling of being closer to ourselves. Not all yoga programs are fit for you and what fits for you is the best for you. Do not just join a group for the sake of doing yoga; rather go for tailor-made programs that suit you.
