My own Awakening to Inner Beauty
I amexcited to annouce that my book, Awaken to Your Inner Beauty is now published. My wish is that it will inspire and empower you to love and accept yourself from the inside out.
I had always been a very active and thin person. After having my daughter, my weight begun to shift and I gained a few pounds. However, it wasn't until I was in alot of pain and could no longer enjoy my daily walks, that I found out I had cancer of the uterues and precancer of the cervix that I really began to gain weight. I had to have a hysterectomy which took a while to heal. I started to loathe my body and didn't feel good about myself. It took me a long time before I could accept that my body had changed and that I am still me, just a different shape. It amazed me that other women who were thinner and prettier had body image issues also. That's when I decided I needed to empower women to feel good about themselves.
I am now experiencing incorporating more raw food into my diet. I am doing this for health reasons and an improved lifestyle and not because I want to lose any weight. I have noticed more energy, my skin feels and looks younger, softer, etc. That's what it is all about, girlfriends! Taking care of yourself from the inside out then your inner beauty will be able to shine outward for all to see!
