What you can do is to ask her what she has been up to lately to see if she has been going out and having a good time. If she mentions that she really has not done anything exciting or that she has been just staying in, that could be an indication that she is feeling lonely like you are.
Attraction is the other reason why couples get back with one another.
Besides the feeling of being lonely without each other, it is when couples still feel very attracted to one another that they are highly likely to reconcile. I am going to take a guess that you feel attracted to your ex girlfriend still. What you are going to have to do is to make sure that she feels that way about you. How can you do this?
It's simple, really. You have to work on what it is that your ex girlfriend found the most attractive about you when you first met and highlight that quality whenever you are around her or get the chance to speak to her. For example, if you always made her laugh in the beginning, you need to try and make her laugh now so that she feels some of those same feelings that she did when you and her first became a couple.
